What’s the quality of the uniforms?

SportsUniforms creates all uniforms from scratch using the highest quality materials. The majority of our products are hand-stitched tackle twill to provide an exceptional quality uniform in an authentic style. We also offer sublimated uniforms for a lighter garment and for those wanting to make a statement with an elaborate design.

What is Tackle Twill?

Tackle Twill is made by cutting pieces of one material and applying them to the surface of another material. This is the most sturdy and long lasting form of uniform customisation, and is the method used by most professional sports teams. Also, no other manufacturing style provides an authentic and bold look to your design like Tackle Twill.

What is Sublimated?

Sublimation is the process of printing directly onto the material. Rather than weaving, embroidering or screen printing a design, sublimation applies the pigment directly into fabric in a vibrant and colorfast way. Ideal for very intricate or elaborate designs.

WHAT IS Screen-printing?

Screen printing is one of the earliest methods of clothing printing and involves the passing of ink through a mesh screen that is stretched over a frame. This process which is most often used for the printing of t-shirts and is a lower quality, cost effective option. The downside to this process is the print does not last as long as all other methods and because the set-up is time consuming this method does not suit unique information per garment like names and numbers.

What guarantee do you give with your uniforms?

The materials and craftmanship of our uniforms are guaranteed for two years under normal conditions.

What’s unique about our custom service?

Many will say they offer a custom service, but unless the options are endless then it really isn’t true. We don’t charge more for any extras: whether it’s a completely unique design, individual player names on the back of your uniforms, a logo or numbers on your shorts, everything is included in the listed price. We can manufacture any design idea you can think of. If you can dream it, we can make it happen.

After my original order can I order additional uniforms and will they be the same?

New team players requiring a uniform happens all the time, and we understand that. That’s why using a custom manufacturer like SportsUniforms is so perfect. We will have all previous orders saved in our system so you can easily return to us for reordering. If you’ve just taken over the administration of a club, we would be happy to provide any past order history to help with your records. Please note: getting an absolute perfect colour match from one dye lot to another is impossible. Therefore we cannot guarantee a perfect match, but we will do our very best to match orders and materials as closely as possible to ensure a seamless look.

How should we size/measure our players?

We recommend you closely look at our size charts and measure each player individually to ensure a perfect fit. We use industry standard sizing. All sizing information is based on uniform measurements, not body measurements, which gives you the ability to correctly fit uniforms to players. Do you offer free designs?

Yes, SportsUniforms will work closely with you to custom design the uniform you need. Just send us an email.

What is your delivery (turnaround) time?

Because all our uniforms are made from scratch, the typical delivery time at peak season is 4-5 weeks from the time the order is placed. If you have an event deadline, please contact us and we’ll see what we can do.

Where is your shop?

As SportsUniforms is an online based business we do not have a shop, but please be assured that what money we save on not having store for you to visit means we can continue to provide the finest quality custom uniforms and customer service at extremely affordable prices.

Where are your uniforms manufactured?

All of our uniforms are manufactured in the Philippines. SportsUniforms began in 2008 when Ash travelled to the Philippines for a basketball mission trip through an organisation called SportsAmbassadors. During that trip he made contact with Josh, a full time missionary who was living and working in the Philippines with his family (and still are). From that meeting SportsUniforms began. First as a small scale service offering custom uniforms for basketball teams at no-profit, with all funds sent to the Philippines and distributed to local mission projects.
